Peter has 25 years experience in various commercial management positions. After taking an MBA he joined a City based firm of management consultants before establishing Teamwork Consulting Group 1988, where he was responsible for managing the business and delivering a wide range of research based strategic consultancy. With Sarah Burton-Taylor, he established WUP in 2002 to concentrate on consultancy to optimise the web user experience. Peter is a highly experienced user consultant and facilitator. He has worked on virtually all projects undertaken by the company either as a facilitator, project manager or consultant. His strengths include the ability to grasp the client's strategic requirements, interpret the user evidence, and help clients develop a clear understanding of the issues to be addressed and how to address these. Clients he has worked for include: The Small Business Service, The British Library, Home Office, Environment Agency, Countryside Agency, First Choice, Scottish Life and many more.

Prior to doing an MBA in 1986, Sarah held a range of managerial positions in industrial and consumer market sectors. After completing her MBA, she then joined a retail management consultancy firm before leaving to establish Teamwork Consulting Group in 1988. With Peter Collins, she established WUP in 2002 to concentrate on consultancy to optimise web user experience. She has completed Doctoral research with Cranfield School of Management, looking at successful consulting interventions and managing organisational knowledge. Sarah has presented papers at the American Academy of Management and the British Academy of Management. Sarah is an experienced consultant and facilitator. She has worked on over 100 projects either as a moderator, facilitator, project manager or consultant. Her strengths include developing research programmes, project management, interpretation of results, and ensuring our products and services embody the best current practice. Rebecca has degrees in Psychology and Human Communication & Computing. She has experience in various customer service roles. Rebecca joined WUP in 2005 and is responsible for tester and respondent facilitation, online surveys, interpretation of research outputs and service development research. Tim has 25 years commercial management experience, including retail, distribution and sales, he has run his own marketing and management business since 1982. Following an MBA from Strathclyde Graduate Business School, Tim has extensive experience in project management and marketing with major international organisations, including the use of online routes to market. Based in Scotland, Tim joined WUP in 2004 as a user experience consultant. Tim undertakes client management, user facilitation and user experience consultancy. After completing a Masters in Social Science, Rosalind worked in the heritage management industry for several years. Since moving from the non-profit sector, Rosalind has held market intelligence and customer insight roles across a broad spectrum of industries. Her experience encompasses retail, IT, telecoms and financial services. Rosalind joined WUP in September 2007 and is responsible for tester and respondent facilitation and the interpretation of research outputs.

Alison has over 20 years experience in both the commercial and voluntary sectors. She has undertaken Sales, Marketing and PR roles up to marketing director level for a range of organisations including: Guide Dogs for the Blind, Financial Times, Christian Brann Ltd. Alison has an MA from Oxford, gained an MBA in 1987 and is fluent in French & German. She is an experienced facilitator and moderator. Liam has been involved in the fields of web standards, mark-up and accessibility since 1995. He is actively involved in accessibility research – typography, information architecture and web interface design – and is a respected contributor to industry groups. Liam draws experience of many kinds of media from ten years in the publishing, broadcast TV, online services and public relations sectors. He has worked on projects for the Environment Agency, Qualification and Curriculum Authority, London South Bank University, Guildford Borough Council, Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council and many more. In his free time Liam serves as a W3C Invited Expert, actively developing international web standards and support materials as part of the organisation's Web Accessibility Initiative.

Avril has worked for many years in administrative and recruitment roles; she joined WUP in 2002 and is responsible for our respondent and tester recruitment and management, and office administration.

Jenny has many years experience in the public sector, working in a range of roles. She was Business Manager for one of the Directors of a local Government Agency, a Commercial Officer working on a large PFI project and was responsible for managing a Flexible Working Trial in preparation for an extensive relocation scheme. After taking a very early retirement from the Civil Service, Jenny joined WUP in 2007 to look after the studio management and tester/respondent recruitment.

Julie has 18 years experience in sales and marketing having worked for a number of major FMCG companies operating with in the Multiple grocer and On trade sectors. In the last few years she has been operating in the B2B sector promoting bespoke training solutions to both public and private clients.
Julie joined WUP in April 2006 to concentrate on building new client relationships and marketing the WUP brand, including the studios.
